- Develop,optimize,andmaintaincontrolsoftwarethatcoordinatessensors,actuators,andawiderangeoflaboratoryequipment
- Designcontrollogicsandalgorithmsforhigh-throughputexperimentation
- Buildfunction-specificdevices/toolstoaddresschallengesandinefficienciesinautomatedworkflows
- Identifytechnicalrequirementsandrisksassociatedwiththebuildoutofthehigh-throughputexperimentplatform,andproposeactionablesolutions/strategies
- Collaboratewithamultidisciplinaryteamofscientistsandengineersinafast-moving environment
- Produceconcisetechnicalreportsandpresentationsforefficientcommunicationofprojectstatus
- Bachelor’sdegreein
Mechanical,Electrical,Computer Engineering,Mechatronicsorarelatedfield - Minimumof2yearsofrelevantexperience(includingadvanceddegreesinrelevantfields)
- Proficiency in Python,C/C++orsimilarprogramming
- Proficiencyinversioncontroltools(e.g.,SVN/Git/Git Lab/Git Hub)
- Experienceinmicrocontrollerdevelopment(e.g.,Arduino,Raspberry Pi)
- Experienceinprototypingcustomdevices/mechanismsandsensor/motorintegration
- Familiaritywithcommunicationprotocols(e.g.,TCP/IP,RS-232)
- Master’sdegreein
Mechanical,Electrical,Computer Engineering,Mechatronicsorarelatedfield - ExperiencewithCADand3
Dprinting - FamiliaritywithmaterialsdevelopmentR&D
- Familiaritywithdatabaseplatforms(e.g.,MongoDB,influxDB,questDB)
- Experience implementing ML and Bayesian optimization frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow, BoTorch)
