Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Supervisor, Residential Care Specialist to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults. POSITIONSUMMARY
The RCS Supervisor performs routine residential care duties and selected non‑professional services under the supervision of the Director of Residential Services, Program Manager. Duties include providing a safe and therapeutic environment while providing care to children/adolescents in a manner that considers safety, residents’ rights and comfort. The RCS continuously observes the residents' behavior, mental status and activities, and reports this information to the appropriate clinical staff;
assists with activities of daily living and encourages independent behavior. Other typical duties are assisting with admissions, discharges and transfers and participating in the implementation of the resident’s individualized plan of care.
- Follows instructions given by Program Director as outlined in policies and procedure.
- Provides care to child/adolescent (9-18) in a manner that considers safety, residents’ rights, comfort, level of development, and the therapeutic environment.
- Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
- Assists with resident trips outside the center transporting residents in hospital van, as needed.
