We are looking for a Senior Data Operations Engineer with strong production support and data engineering operations experience to support and maintain critical data platforms and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support batch jobs and ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Manage production incidents, changes, problems, and SLA compliance
- Support AWS Glue, S3, RDS
, and data lake environments - Troubleshoot Python, Java, Apache Spark, Cloudera Hadoop, HDFS, and Impala
- Support Oracle/OLTP databases and perform query/performance tuning
- Provide Tomcat administration and application support
- Support downstream reporting platforms including Tableau and Power BI
- Participate in on-call rotations and senior-level production escalations
- Review production releases, code changes, testing, documentation, and rollback plans
- Work with Git, pull requests, branching/merge standards
, and security vulnerability remediation
- 8+ years in Data Operations / Production Support
- Strong Python & Java
- AWS Glue, S3, RDS
- GCP working knowledge
- Cloudera, Hadoop, HDFS, Impala
- Oracle & OLTP
