Assistant Floating Branch Support Manager

At Genisys Credit Union, we value our employees who are essential to our ongoing growth and success as a financial institution of choice. We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Assistant Floating Support Manager to join our Branch Support Team.
This position is located in Michigan and travels between our Michigan locations to provide support.

Responsible for assisting with the direction and administration of Branch operations in the absence of the Branch/Department Manager or Assistant Manager. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed. Oversees the provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Observes staff with members and offers on the spot coaching and/or positive reinforcement when covering for a branch manager.

Trains, directs, and assists in supervising Branch staff including motivating and encouraging staff to meet and exceed goals through sales coaching, huddles, emails, etc. when covering for a branch manager for an extended period of time. Performs various Branch functions as required. Assists the Branch Operations Manager with managing the Float Team.

• Ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Ensures Branch security, assists with opening and closing the building in accordance with set hours. Tests security equipment as assigned.
• Handles emergencies including but not limited to: robbery, medical, etc.
• Ensures that the Branch balances all transactions at the close of each day. Proofs Tellers, runs related reports, and balances the vault at the end of each day. Provides assistance to Tellers as needed.
• Assists with Member Service Representative functions. Performs duties related to all credit union products and services. Assists in opening new member accounts and with loan closings and disbursements.
• Assist with teller functions when necessary.
• Promotes Branch business development and seeks to broaden member base. Actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services.
• Acts as a Loan Officer, processing and approving member loans within established policies and limits.
• Completes required reports and records and ensures that Branch functions are properly documented.
• Assists Manager of Branch Operations with implementing changes to established policy and procedures within the Branch.
• Assists with the coaching of branch staff on sales leadership.

• Associate Degree or minimum of 64 credit hours working towards a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must become and remain 100% bonded

• Two to five years of related operations experience required.
• Sales Experience
• Supervisory Experience

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well organized.
• Able to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment.
• Good marketing skills.
• Good supervisory abilities.
