Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a CNC Machinist Apprentice. The Apprentice works from designs to build and repair thermoplastic and thermoset injection molds to company standards. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.

• Learn to study designs of Press Tools and Plastic Injection molds, prototype parts and visualize shape, mechanical structure, and operation of the die and mold. Understand applications of Jigs and Fixtures.
• Learn machine set‑ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machine parts to specifications set forth in designs, engineering orders, etc.
• Learn to check machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
• Required to operate numerical control machines.

• Be willing and able to follow instruction.
• Set‑up and safely operate Vertical Milling Machines, Surface Grinders, Overhead Cranes, Saws.
• Proficient aptitude and basic hand‑tool experience.
• Ability to aid in moving, disassembling, cleaning molds and components in a safe manner.

Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear. Ability to lift 5 - 50 pounds.
