** JOB PURPOSE
**** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
** We are looking for a manager for the Quality Department. As Quality Manager, you will lead the Quality Department on-site in Åmål and be part of the management team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. Your leadership will drive the company’s quality efforts forward and strengthen the quality culture. You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality matters are handled according to process, and that the products delivered to customers meet high standards.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead and develop the Quality Department.
* Ensure all quality processes are followed and continuously improved.
* Track goals and metrics related to quality performance.
* Set and monitor requirements for suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department.
* Ensure the quality of incoming materials and delivered products.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure efficient and profitable production.
* Represent the company in quality matters with global automotive customers.
** What we’re looking for
** We are seeking a self-driven, structured, and motivated individual with a genuine interest in quality work. You prioritize your team’s performance and are motivated by seeing people grow and develop. You thrive in an international environment and see working with large global customers as a major advantage.
** Your background:
*** Engineering degree.
* Several years of experience in quality work in a leadership role.
* Experience in the automotive industry, preferably on the supplier side.
* Fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish, both spoken and written.
