The Barback supports bartenders and front‑of‑house operations by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, organized, clean, and running efficiently at all times. This position plays a critical behind‑the‑scenes role in maintaining workflow, replenishing product, and supporting service during peak volume. The Barback contributes to a smooth guest experience by anticipating operational needs, working with urgency, and providing support during restaurant service and private events.

Compensation: $10.00 / hour
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of bar areas, storage spaces, coolers, and equipment.
- Prepare garnishes, refill ice, and ensure all stations are stocked and organized before, during, and after service.
- Assist bartenders with preparation needs including batching cocktails, stocking kegs, and rotating products.
- Remove trash, recycling, and broken glass safely and promptly.
- Assist FOH staff during peak periods, including running beverages, bussing tables, and resetting service areas.
- Support dishwashing needs related to bar glassware and smallwares.
- Work closely with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow.
- Support setup, breakdown, and replenishment for private events, tournaments, league nights, and social gatherings.
- Move and stage equipment, tables, coolers, and bar supplies as required.
- Assist bartenders with event service execution and closing duties.
- Provide friendly, polished, and helpful interaction with guests when needed.
- Anticipate needs of bartenders and service staff to maintain efficiency.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and development programs.
- Communicate effectively and support teamwork across all departments.
- Prior barback, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and urgency while maintaining efficiency and organization.
- Ability to multitask and work in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
- Willingness to learn beverage products and bar systems.
- Availability on evenings, weekends, holidays, and event‑based schedules.
- Ability to maintain a professional and polished appearance.
- Must meet state minimum age requirements for handling alcohol.
- Hard‑working, dependable, and motivated team player.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexible and comfortable shifting between tasks and service needs.
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Calm under pressure and solutions‑oriented.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
