Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member:
    Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert:
    Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
  • Be a Techie:
    Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
  • Be an Owner:
    Maintains operational excellence; keeps work area according to company policies; ensures quality and date control standards; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador:
    Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience; models high quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; applies Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
