IT Configuration Engineer

Position: IT Configuration Engineer-1
* Maintain and optimize existing Pricefx configurations to ensure system stability and performance.
* Implement new configuration requirements ranging from simple to moderately complex.
* Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and system issues in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Conduct testing and validation of configuration changes before deployment.
* Work with version control systems (e.g., GIT) to manage configuration updates and ensure traceability.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of configuration practices.
* Document configuration changes and maintain technical documentation for future reference.
* Professional experience in object-oriented programming, ideally with Java.
* Strong understanding of data structures (arrays, maps), algorithmic thinking, and coding fundamentals (variables, loops, conditions).
* Familiarity with Groovy language features, including syntax, operators, and closures.
* Hands-on experience with IDE tools such as Intelli

J IDEA or similar.
* Proficiency in GIT workflows (feature branches, checkout, pull, push, commit, rebase, amend, merge, stash).
* Solid problem-solving skills with a focus on solution development, testing, and troubleshooting.
* Experience working with SQL databases, including table management and data analysis.
* Strong communication skills in English (CEFR B2 level or higher), with the ability to clearly express technical concepts and understand documentation.
* Domain knowledge of the Pricefx software is extremely helpful but not required.
