We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer for smart cockpit development.

The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for developing smart cockpit solutions, focusing on various software components and ensuring high-quality standards in automotive applications.

• Strong object-oriented programming (OOPS) skills with C/C++/Java/Python
• Advantage with knowledge on programming languages such as React Native, Kotlin, C#
• Solid technical depth in Tuner features (AM/FM/DAB/SDARS/HD Radio etc) and stack associated with Tuner HW
• Software design and implementation experience in an object-oriented environment
• Knowledge on Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers
• Experience with operating systems like Linux, Android, QNX and aware about Hypervisor
• Experience with communication network protocols like https, RTP, Websocket and interfaces like Ethernet, UART, SP
• Experience with SCM tools such as:
  Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, RTC
• Experience with debugging using relevant tools such as GDB, JTAG-Debugger, BDI, Lauterbach, ADB, logs
• Knowledge on Functional Safety and SPICE processes
• Knowledge on software quality standards and Test-Driven Development
• Proven ability working in Agile Scrum environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to work in a dynamic, fast paced, multitasking environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience

• Worked in Infotainment area of Automotive System (preferably domain controller platform)
• Should have experience in working on Automotive Android OS (AOSP) specifically in HAL and Middleware layers
• Should have maximum experience working in Tuner domain (AM, FM, DAB/DAB+/HD Radio/Serius
  
  XM)

• Additional advantage for working experience Remote connectivity with various networking protocols and fully aware about various networking topology (TCP/IP, UDP, RTP/RTCP, Websocket, SOMEIP)
• Integration experience of 3rd party Engine or application on Android will be plus
• Implementation experience in command & control interfaces, audio streaming path, integrating with audio subsystem on Linux OS.
• Experience in working with suppliers and algorithm vendors (Technical and Product Management skills).
