Software Requirements Engineer – Loc Performance

Essential Functions- Derive system/subsystem level requirements to the SRS level.
- Collect requirements by interacting with cross‑functional teams to define functional requirements.
- Prioritize and allocate system requirements to appropriate software functions.
- Perform and document analysis of requirements development and adherence.
- Support requirements review activities in a cross‑functional setting.
- Support the Software Verification team by ensuring software requirements are testable.
- Support the Software team by prioritizing software requirements per the release plan.
- Evaluate requirement management tools for efficiency and viability within the team.
- Define and follow the software requirements engineering process and lifecycle.
- Address requirements related issues assessed by stakeholders.
- Improve software requirement quality and traceability to models and test cases.
- Translate written requirements into model‑based SysML (Cameo) representations.
- Experience using IBM DOORS, RTC, PTC Integrity, Cameo, or similar requirements tools.
- Experience writing or deriving software level requirements from system/subsystem specifications.
- Hands‑on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
- Experience writing software test cases and procedures.
- Familiarity with DoD ground vehicle requirements.
- Strong independent work style with a practical, hands‑on attitude.
- Knowledge of Military Standards and regulations.
- Effective communication skills for technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Active U.S. Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- BSc Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Systems, Software, Aerospace, Automotive).
- 5 or more years in software requirements/Systems Engineering.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SysML tools.
- Experience working in a multi‑national, multi‑organizational corporate environment.
- Systems Engineering background.
- Physical testing experience.
- HIL/SIL experience.
- German language skills desired.
- MSc Engineering (desired).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
