Job Summary
The COSAM Communications and Marketing Office at Auburn University is looking for a creative and motivated student to join our team as a Student Video Producer. This position offers hands-on experience in video production, editing, and content creation for COSAM’s social media, website, and promotional materials. If you have a passion for storytelling through video and want to build your portfolio while working in a fun and professional environment, this is the perfect opportunity!

- Video Production:
Assist in filming COSAM events, student stories, faculty features, and promotional content using our professional Sony camera gear. - Editing & Post-Production:
Edit video projects using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Suite products on Mac and PC workstations. - Content Creation:
Help develop creative ideas for video content that highlights the impact of COSAM students, faculty, and programs. - Photography:
Capture high-quality photos for social media and marketing materials when needed. - Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with the communications team to produce engaging content that aligns with COSAM’s messaging.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled Auburn University student
- Basic knowledge of video production and editing (experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus).
- Strong interest in storytelling, marketing, and digital media.
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on projects.
- Familiarity with camera operation (especially Sony cameras) or a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Photography skills and experience with Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom.
