Responsibilities include teaching one to two sections of Core Composition or Core Literature, or other English courses depending on the needs of the English Department.

• Masters in English or a related humanities field at the time employment begins
• Broad literary training
• Record of successful teaching of college‑level composition, sophomore literature, and/or business and technical writing
• Interest in teaching both writing and literature
• Eligibility to work legally in the United States and ability to continue working legally for the proposed term of employment
• Excellent communication skills

• PhD desired
• Experience and training in teaching freshman‑level composition
• Experience teaching online classes in the English Core curriculum

• Salary Range: $4,500 per class per semester
