Job Summary

The Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning is searching for a Graduate Student Worker to assist with creating help materials and supporting faculty in their use of instructional technology, such as Canvas, Panopto, Zoom, and Qualtrics.

Note:

This position is offered as an hourly graduate position for the Fall semester, and can be changed to include an assistantship in the Spring.

• Provide initial support for faculty via phone or Service Now interactions
  • Answer general questions such as Biggio Center’s location, availability, and resources
  • Troubleshoot basic instructional technology related computing issues
  • Create and assign Service Now tickets for more difficult tasks
• Create and update multimedia help guides for faculty and students.
  • Create text copy detailing steps for specific tasks
  • Use image editing software to capture and edit screenshots and to highlight tasks
• Basic logistical assistance
  • Assist in preparing workshops
  • Collaborate with other Biggio Center staff as needed
