** This is a temporary 2-month contract, from October to December 2026.**
SEGULA Technologies is looking for a Value Optimization Engineer to support automotive engineering programs and identify innovative cost, weight, complexity, and value optimization opportunities across vehicle systems.
Your Mission:You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, CAE, and suppliers to develop solutions that improve vehicle value while maintaining performance, safety, quality, durability, manufacturability, and customer expectations
.
- Lead Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities.
- Identify and develop cost, weight, complexity, and commonization opportunities
. - Benchmark vehicle designs, components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Develop technical and financial business cases for optimization opportunities.
- Support teardown analysis, should-cost studies, and design-to-value initiatives.
- Evaluate proposed changes for performance, safety, durability, NVH, manufacturability, and warranty impact.
- Coordinate opportunities from concept through validation, engineering release, and implementation.
- Present recommendations, technical trade-offs, and business cases to program leadership.
