The Treasury Manager oversees an organization’s financial operations related to cash flow, liquidity, and risk management, ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Cash Management
:
Managedailycashflow,ensuringsufficientliquiditytomeetobligationsandoptimizingbankingoperations. - Financial Risk Management :
Assessandmitigatefinancialrisksassociatedwithcashflowandinvestments,includingforeignexchangeandinterestraterisks. - Cash Forecasting
:
Developandmaintaincashforecastingmodelstopredictfuturecashneedsandalignwithcorporatefinancialgoals. - Banking Relationships
:
Maintainandenhancerelationshipswithbankingpartners,ensuringeffectivetreasurytransactionsandservices. - Reporting
:
Prepareregularreportsforseniormanagement,includingcashflowforecasts,investmentperformance,andriskassessments. - Compliance
:
Ensurecompliancewithinternalpoliciesandexternalregulations,including
Sarbanes-Oxley or similarrequirements.
- Education
:
Abachelor’sdegreeinfinance,accounting,orarelatedfieldistypicallyrequired. - Experience
: 5+yearsofexperienceintreasurymanagementorfinance,withsomesupervisoryexperiencepreferred. - Skills
:
Stronganalyticalskills,attentiontodetail,andproficiencyinfinancialmodelingandanalysisareessential.
Familiaritywithtreasurymanagementsystemsandfinancialregulationsisalsoimportant.
