Pharmacy Technician

PHARMACY TECH

Experience: 1 year of pharmacy technician experience

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
• Accurately label and package medications
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Enter prescription information into the computer system
• Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with medical terminology and common medications is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Please note that this role may involve working in an acute care or hospital setting, where critical care medications may be administered or infused.
