Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of bar operations at the designated venue, including staff.
  • Ensure bars are adequately stocked and prepared for each event.
  • Maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation.
Inventory and Financial Management
  • Monitor beverage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Implement inventory tracking systems to reduce waste and prevent theft.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales.
  • Prepare sales reports and assist with budgeting.
Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure adherence to local and state alcohol service laws.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines within bar operations.
Client and Guest Relations
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues.
  • Work with event coordinators to align bar services with event themes.
  • Participate in planning meetings as needed.
Flexibility
  • Available to work at other events when not required at the primary venue.
  • Adapt to varying event requirements and locations.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in bar/event management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Certified in Responsible Alcohol Service (e.g., TIPS, Serv Safe Alcohol).
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of beverages and mixology.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
