Administrator, Recreation Technology & Systems at Auburn University

This role plans, implements, and manages technology systems supporting Recreation and Wellness. The administrator ensures seamless integration of hardware, software, and A/V operations across facilities, programs, and services.

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility operations systems, including hardware, operating systems, A/V setups, fitness equipment technologies, and departmental software platforms. Oversee integrations with platforms such as Innosoft Fusion and other recreation management systems.
• Provide individual and group instruction on the use of departmental technologies. Create and maintain standard operations procedures and training materials for staff.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to enhance departmental operations. Coordinate with vendors and internal partners for procurement, implementation, and lifecycle management of technology assets.
• Manage A/V needs for events and facilities, including setup and troubleshooting. Monitor and maintain inventory of computers, mobile devices, time clocks, turnstiles, scoreboards, and other technology assets.
• Participate in budget planning and monitor technology‑related expenditures. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to align technology initiatives with departmental strategy.
