Student Assistant - Information Technology
Auburn University Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of Student Assistant in the IT Department to assist faculty and staff with daily, routine library operations. Students in the Libraries IT Department should have a certain basic set of skills to be able to assist the department efficiently and effectively. Our expectation is performance to the best of your ability on all tasks requested.
EssentialFunctions
- Assist Auburn University Libraries staff in resolving computing questions as well as hardware/software problems/repairs/maintenance
- Assist IT staff in updating computer software, imaging laptops/computers, swapping out computer equipment
- Refer users to other information resources when necessary to resolve computer usage issues
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Help set up/transport equipment

Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour.
Work Hours:
Students will work up to 20 hours per week depending on availability and departmental needs.
