Position: Sales Director (Defense)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Direct and manage sales teams interfacing with end users, OEMs, and distributors
  • Collaborate with regional sales directors and national accounts to develop effective sales strategies
  • Execute business strategic plans and provide voice of customer input to leadership
  • Coach and develop sales talent while managing performance evaluations and talent assessments
  • Facilitate regional meetings and lead customer-related training sessions
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in vertical sales, preferably in the power transmission industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of industry and channel dynamics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in leading high-performing sales teams
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships with C-level executives
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and KPI usage for coaching sellers
  • Background in factory automation or related sectors
