Quality Technician

Job Summary

Quality Technician role at Regal Rexnord focuses on performing quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, and parts, recording statistical data, analyzing results, and recommending improvements to optimize compliance with quality and reliability standards.

• Perform quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
• Record statistical data and analyze data to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
• Recommend modifications to existing or suggest new standards, methods, and procedures.
• Read complex drawings, understand Bill of Materials, and identify manufacturing processes including turning, boring, grinding, balancing, heat treating, coatings, and others needed to manufacture components to drawings and specifications.
• Make decisions on whether parts meet drawing/router specs and write scrap tickets when non‑conforming product is realized.
• Attach inspection reports and balance records to SAP.
• Read and calibrate all gauges available in the plant and learn the CMM, including Zeiss and Keyence machines.
• Scan and file production routers and material certifications; coordinate returned product through the RMA process.
• Actively participate in process and department improvement discussions.

• High school GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Computer proficiency and SAP experience a plus.
• High level verbal and written communication skills (English primary).
• High school level math skills.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
