Development Officer - Harrison College of Pharmacy
Join the Auburn Advancement team as a Development Officer to work with the Pharmacy College. This role is vital in building lasting relationships and securing resources needed to support Auburn Advancement and Auburn University’s philanthropic mission.
Responsibilities- Identify and cultivate major giving prospects through research, initial contact ratings, peer reviews, and other resources. Understand their passions to align philanthropic goals with Auburn’s mission.
- Solicit and secure major gifts through person-to-person visits, group presentations, and phone calls. Present compelling cases for support and highlight the impact of contributions.
- Show gratitude and keep donors informed and engaged through personalized acknowledgements, event attendance, and regular contact.
- Champion philanthropy by encouraging alumni and stakeholders to support the university’s mission, fostering a sense of pride and impact.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Development Officer I: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, and/or public relations.
- Development Officer II: Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, and/or public relations.
- Development Officer III: Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, and/or public relations.
