Stewardship Development Coordinator - Samuel Ginn College of Engineering

Auburn University is recruiting a Stewardship Development Coordinator for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering to join our philanthropy team. The role involves managing development projects, overseeing top donor stewardship, and supporting fundraisers with our principal gift program.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute development projects with strategic alignment, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Serve as liaison to donors and stakeholders, coordinate meetings, prepare briefings, and cultivate relationships.
  • Support fundraisers through donor research, pipeline management, and data‑driven insights.
  • Maintain donor databases, ensure data accuracy, and generate reports to support fundraising efforts.
  • Provide high‑level administrative support by drafting communications, preparing reports, and managing special projects.
Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic initiatives in top donor stewardship and principle gifts.
  • Collaborate with Auburn Advancement’s Principle Gift workgroup, preparing briefings and fostering relationships.
  • Leverage data analysis and CRM to manage donor databases and generate insightful reports.
  • Execute multiple projects efficiently, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Level I:
    Bachelor’s degree.
  • Level II:
    Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience OR Master’s degree.
  • Level III:
    Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience OR Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
  • Scope of experience:
    Experience in public relations work and general office operations.
