Job Description & How to Apply Below

Responsible for driving systemic, closed-loop quality resolution and continuous improvement. This role focuses on following up on countermeasures at the OEM site, addressing Customer and Headquarters findings, and establishing a rigorous, standardized audit system across all manufacturing facilities to ensure a Zero-Defect mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison at the OEM to follow up on and physically validate the effectiveness of countermeasures implemented by the manufacturing plants.
  • Track, investigate, and permanently resolve quality findings generated by the Customer and Corporate Headquarters.
  • Manage and validate Facelift and New Vehicle Launch Part Quality, ensuring all components meet strict specifications prior to mass production through Product Validations.
  • Lead early-stage involvement with Product Engineering to integrate robust quality standards into new vehicle program designs.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive "Lessons Learned" database, systematically addressing Past Car Problems across Design, Assembly, and Components to prevent recurrence.
  • Drive horizontal deployment ("read-across") of corrective actions, ensuring a solution at one plant is standardized across the regional network.
  • Reviewing internal containment data and corrective action reports to verify root causes are addressed systemically, not just local.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Center Manager.
Essential Skills
  • BS/BA or equivalent practical experience in Automotive Quality.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Preferred Skills
  • Supervisory or lead auditor experience (IATF 16949 familiarity preferred).
