MEAT/CLERK – Kroger – Auburn, AL

Perform general clean‑up and stock work in the Meat department and provide outstanding customer service, while demonstrating Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Greet customers promptly and cheerfully, ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain a professional, calm, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Unload, store, and display merchandise according to company standards.
• Monitor temperatures, product quality, and freshness, ensuring safe handling.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers organized and free of clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in compliance with company and Health Department policies.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, quantity, and space allocation.
• Operate the cash register in accordance with company procedures.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑pace, sometimes stressful environment.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and nonconfrontationally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues with customers or associates.
• Support interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
