The Account Manager manages client relationships within the Events & Venues division, ensuring client satisfaction and successful event delivery. This role is responsible for understanding client needs, coordinating event details, and ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. The role also handles financial aspects related to events, including collecting, recording, and processing payments for financial reconciliation. The Account Manager conveys client requests and information to internal teams, based on client needs.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions based on their requests.
- Ensure clients are informed of legal requirements and company policies relevant to their events.
- Relay compliance information to clients to ensure all events meet regulatory and company standards.
- Push out event information and client requests to Operations and other internal teams.
- Ensure all internal teams receive accurate and timely information to execute events successfully.
- Ensure all events adhere to legal and company standards by guiding clients accordingly.
- Coordinate event logistics based on client needs and requests.
- Ensure all event details are managed effectively to meet client expectations.
- Identify opportunities to upsell services.
- Develop new client relationships to expand the business.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and reports.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation, including financial transactions and compliance communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in account management or sales.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
