Material Handler

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our growing team.

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the nation's largest wholesale suppliers of doors, door hardware, windows, and millwork, currently has positions available for Material Handler to assist our distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

• Operating propane and/or electric forklift vehicles
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
• Material preparation and material handling
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• Gather the necessary materials to support the assembly floor
• Assist in the assembly operations
• Detect and report defective materials
• Label finished products to match appropriate paperwork
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Retrieve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for proper assembly

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Expected pay for this role is between $23.45 to $25.92 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
