Position: A Technician

A bumper to bumper, master certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision. In most cases, are leaders in the shop and chosen to support the development of other technicians when needed. At times, may be called upon to interface with customers in various capacities.

Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Qualifications:
  • Hyundai Certified preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous automotive technician experience.
  • Dependable and hardworking.
  • MUST HAVE Maine State Inspection and valid driver’s license.
Automotive Technician / Mechanic Job

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles for mechanical problems.
  • Recommend any necessary additional repairs/maintenance.
  • Help maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Meet productivity and efficiency goals.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

Full Time Salary is not negotiable. Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.

Efficient and effective at on the job learning to apply to new vehicles and technology when concerns arise. Improved diagnostic skills through training & experience, and competent in complex mechanical repairs.

An entry level technician:
Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire, and battery replacement etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex critical mechanical aptitude with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions, or after being taught the proper techniques first.
