Scheduling Coordinator - Orthopedics

Central Maine Healthcare Orthopedics is seeking a Full Time, Scheduling Coordinator to join our team!

Assume primary responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the many complex schedules that are required and support the department in other ways as needed.

• Organize and integrate all aspects of the monthly rotation schedules.
• Communicates and confirms monthly schedules with outside attendings to organize and create schedules. Must utilize excellent communication skills to develop and maintain rapport with physician partners.
• Integrate time/day/procedure-specific requirements/requests of physicians.
• Administrative contact for all credentialing and re-credentialing requests. Monitor all physician licenses, and notify staff when necessary, to ensure all renewals are timely.
• Continually work to develop improved systems for quality and efficiency.

• Minimum of Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s preferred.
• 7-10 years of office/clerical work experience.
• Previous experience working in health care setting.
• Previous Graduate Medical Education experience preferred.
