We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager who embodies GNC’s "Live Well" philosophy – living strong, living long, and living fit. With your understanding of business needs and passion for health and wellness, you find great excitement in offering tailored and innovative solutions to each customer.

What You’ll Do

As a full‑time hourly supervisory position, you will lead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional service and guidance to our customers.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including business performance, product management, and ensuring your team has the tools to succeed.
  • Represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well" message to customers.
  • Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards and are easy to see and buy.
  • Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that leads to sales and repeat business i.e. MYGNC Rewards.
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
  • Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and managerial skills such as giving feedback, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
  • Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including, but not limited to cash handling, inventory count and deposits according to GNC procedures.
  • Attend community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule
  • Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
  • Frequent reaching, bending and twisting below waist and above shoulders.
  • Frequent use of repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently lift up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to forty pounds. Push/pull up to twenty pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend.
  • Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85°F, especially in stock rooms.
  • Use of a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.
Store Manager Working Hours
  • Managers of mall and strip center stores must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night and one other night.
  • Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.
  • Mall managers should work peak business days including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
  • All managers should work a minimum of one full Sunday per month.
  • Downtown store managers must work during lunch hour of 11 a.m.

    -2 p.m. Monday‑Friday and one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. Not required to work Saturday.
  • All managers are expected to work major U.S. holidays that the store is open.
