Quality Assurance Associate

The Strainrite Companies is a fast growing manufacturer of liquid filtration and separation equipment servicing the life sciences and beverage industries. The Strainrite Companies is seeking a detailed oriented, dependable individual whose primary responsibilities would be implementation and review of GMP quality systems. The Quality Assurance Associate uses a variety of techniques and inspection methods, measurements and functional testing of equipment to certify product and raw material are conforming to product specifications

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Reviewing records and change requests on completeness, consistency, relevance and clarity

Provides advice to requesting departments regarding GMP matters and GMP compliance

Inspect all incoming components and raw materials to ensure that all applicable specifications are met

Verifies and inspect incoming materials and works accordingly with purchasing and suppliers to handle any possible discrepancies

Participates in quality audits when required

Identifies quality concerns and escalates to management as appropriate

With guidance, works as a quality representative on cross functional teams to support new product launches

Participates in the development and maintenance of QA programs, policies, processes, procedures and controls to ensure that products conform to established standards

Demonstrate behaviors and positive attitudes in line with Quality Assurance values

Performs other duties as may be required or necessary

Job Requirements

B.S/B.A (or 5 years experience as a QA Manager in a GMP facility)

Good interpersonal communication skills/able to work in a team environment
