Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and show appreciation for their visit
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering and assist guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns following store policies and escalate to leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance, and follow safety policies
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders and returns while complying with applicable laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Effective communication and positive language when engaging with guests
• A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Attention to detail and prioritization of tasks
• Ability to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate technology and devices (scanners, handheld devices, etc.) and work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; frequently lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Comfort with varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
