Job Overview

Food and food service delivery drivers are essential to America’s food distribution system. They deliver and unload food and related products to customers safely and on time, while representing the company and building lasting customer relationships.

Average annual pay is $106,000, plus up to an additional $10,000 hiring bonus for experienced delivery drivers.

• Communicate and interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co‑workers.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip safety checks and report any safety issues or repairs required.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safe driving guidelines and company policies.
• Inspect, load, and unload freight; verify and count items and ensure proper paperwork.
• Collect payments (cash or checks) and obtain proper signatures on deliveries.
• Secure and lock the tractor, trailer and freight; maintain a clean and safe loading dock area.
• Complete daily record of hours of service and keep all required paperwork.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and other related duties as assigned.

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A and meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT health card or able to secure a new DOT health card.
• Able to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
