Position Overview
A well-established emergency department in Auburn, New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join its dynamic clinical team. This full-time (or part-time/per-diem) role offers a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with strong multidisciplinary support and modern diagnostic resources.
This is an opportunity to practice broad-scope emergency care while contributing to quality improvement, team leadership, and departmental development. Position Highlights
- Provide full-spectrum emergency evaluation, stabilization, and medical management
- Perform a wide range of procedures including airway management, resuscitation, wound care, orthopedic reductions, and procedural sedation
- Lead care for trauma activations, critically ill patients, and time-sensitive emergencies
- Collaborative environment with APPs, nursing staff, and on-call specialists
- Participate in departmental meetings, peer review, and ongoing quality initiatives
- Flexible scheduling options: full-time, part-time, and per-diem shifts available Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency (ACGME-accredited or equivalent)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active state medical license or eligibility
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage high-acuity situations Compensation & Benefits
