Data Entry Clerk

Description

We are looking for a dependable Data Entry Clerk to support a short-term Contract assignment in greater Seattle. This role is focused on helping the team reduce a processing backlog by reviewing revenue and cost information and entering accurate records into internal systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with basic Excel files, and able to maintain consistency in a supervised onsite environment over an estimated three-month engagement.

Responsibilities:

- Review revenue and cost details in spreadsheets and accurately enter the information into the company's operating system

- Process a high volume of records while maintaining strong accuracy and consistency across all entries

- Verify data for completeness and identify discrepancies before submitting information into internal tools

- Organize and manage assigned workload to help the team reduce an existing backlog within project timelines

- Use basic Microsoft Excel functions such as opening, reviewing, sorting, and referencing spreadsheet data for entry tasks

- Follow onsite direction from supervisors and managers to ensure work is completed according to established procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in data entry or similar administrative support work

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter numeric and written data accurately

- Reliable attendance and the ability to maintain productivity throughout the assignment

- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including working with spreadsheets without advanced formulas

- Comfortable using computer-based systems for repetitive and high-volume data processing

- Strong typing skills and general computer literacy

- Ability to work onsite in Auburn, Washington for an estimated three-month Contract assignment
