Position Highlights

• Sign-on bonus available
• Full-time: minimum of 5 × 24-hour shifts per month

Clinical Duties:

May include obstetric emergencies, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, OB procedures, triage and ED consults, postpartum care, collaboration with private practice OB/GYNs, staff education, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.

The Family Birth Center at Multi Care Auburn Medical Center features 12 private labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms, each equipped with:

Jetted tubs

Comfortable seating for visitors

Additional highlights include:

Intermediate Care Nursery with 24/7 board-certified neonatology coverage

Lactation support services

Approximately 1,488 annual births

Over 1,200 annual triage visits

Multi Care Tacoma General Hospital is home to a recently renovated and expanded Family Birth Center, featuring:

• All-private birthing suites with en suite bathrooms and tubs
• State-of-the-art medical technology
• Level IV NICU — the only one in the region
• Dedicated lactation support and a highly experienced clinical team

Program volume includes:

Approximately 2,900 annual deliveries

Over 7,300 unscheduled outpatient triage visits
