Role OverviewProvide a range of services to help individuals and families cope with complex mental health situations, improving their quality of life. In collaboration with clients and the team, you will offer crisis services, guide goal setting, and facilitate engagement in therapy both in‑office and remotely.
Key Responsibilities- Orient and educate clients and families, explaining the role of the clinical case manager and developing recovery plans.
- Provide crisis management services.
- Perform intakes as needed with MHP credentials.
- Participate in quality-improvement activities and committees.
- Achieve 60% productivity (24 hours) billable per full-time equivalent.
- Assist with billing as required.
- Problem‑solve with clients in various settings (homes, hospitals, schools, shelters).
- Advocate for clients with community agencies, family, providers, landlords, DPS, etc.
- Education: Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
- Experience: Providing mental‑health services to children, adolescents, and families; working with trauma‑exposed, chronically poor, chronically ill, homeless, or marginalized populations and co‑occurring disorders.
- Obtain Agency‑Affiliated Counselor registration upon hire.
- Must be able to work in schools.
- Pass required background checks.
