Position Overview

Join our team as a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant. This role is a floating position supporting Urgent Care Clinics in the Southwest Region, with a planned transition to a permanent role in the upcoming Silverdale clinic in summer 2026.

  • Region: Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, Tacoma, University Place, Auburn, Milton
  • FTE: 0.9
  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: 3 x 12‑hour shifts
Unique Earnings Potential
  • Up to $2,500 sign‑on incentive for external candidates, including new grads and experienced medical assistants
  • $2.50/hour Indigo Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked
  • $1.75/hour X‑Ray Certification Premium on top of base rate for employees who become trained and certified in X‑Ray
  • $1.25/hour Weekend Differential for staff who work weekend shifts
  • Extra shifts and float incentives awarded when applicable
  • Monthly Indigo Incentive Program, with a payout rate of up to $300/month

Position Summary

The Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant expands your role in health care through performing clinical tasks and coordinating patient care within the MA‑C license scope. You will work in high collaboration with your team to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences, supporting the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff, and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
  • Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge, integration of standards, resources, and data
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
  • Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
Requirements

Washington State Requirements:

  • Washington State Medical Assistant‑Certified (MA‑C)
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year from issue date or until MA‑C is issued
  • Current BLS certification, or eligible for in‑house training
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a physician’s office or other medical facility preferred
  • Exceptions may be made for applicants in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA‑R certification within seven days of hire; WA MA‑C license required within 45 days of hire

Idaho State Requirements:

  • Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA, or NCCT
  • WA state MA‑C license, or WA state MA‑R license endorsed by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment
  • Current BLS certification, or eligible for in‑house training
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a physician’s office or other medical facility preferred
  • Exceptions may be made for applicants in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA‑R certification within seven days of hire
