CNC Machinist Level 3; Senior

CNC Machinist Level 3 (Senior) role at Orion Industries.

• Processes product using various CNC Machines.

• All Qualifications Of Level 1 Plus:
  Understand and apply advanced machine techniques.
• Set up and run 4 & 5 axis CNC machines.
• Set-up tooling and production processes on CNC equipment.
• Become a Mentor to Program Participants.
• Ability to obtain a delegation stamp.

• All Qualifications Of Level 2 Plus:
  Designs, specifies, and creates tooling and production processes on CNC equipment.
• Provides training to Orion staff and recommends qualification on specific processes and equipment as identified on qualification matrix.
• Ability to make manufacturing improvements.
• Edit CNC programs and equipment.

• All duties and responsibilities of level 3 plus:
• Coordinates staff assignments as needed to meet production and Program Participant needs.
• Monitors production performance across manufacturing cell and takes corrective action.
• Troubleshoots problems that are beyond the capability of machinists.
• Participates in safety and quality investigations and recommends corrective action.
• Time and attendance management to include approval of time off, overtime, and timecards.
• Provide input for Performance Reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Meet KPIs as instructed by direct supervisor.
