Tool Crib Attendant; Dayshift

A&G Machine is seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant to support our Tool Crib Lead by providing cutting tools and supplies to multiple plants. We are a private, family-oriented company with over 40 years of sustained successful operations, retaining the best talent in the industry.

• Work within a safety and metric-focused environment.
• Orders, receives, stores, and issues tool holders and cutting tools to appropriate CNC machine resources.
• Monitor job queue to identify, prioritize, and supplement tooling needs.
• Maintain tool holder and cutting tool inventory within the computer system.
• Read and understand CNC machine set-up instructions to identify tool list.
• Set up traditional and advanced CNC machine tool holders with cutting tools
• Use the shrink-fit machine to set up tools.
• Use measuring equipment like a micrometer or caliper to measure cutting tools.
• Keep up on cutting-tool technology advancements through relationships with outside vendors.

• Inventory control: 1 year (Required)
• Aerospace: 1 year (Required)
• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in the Tool Crib or Inventory Materials
• Previous machining experience
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Tool crib attendants must have organizational skills to keep accurate records of tool locations, scheduled repairs, and maintenance.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make simple decisions.
• Basic computer skills are necessary for the position to transact tools and materials in the system and maintain inventory records.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.

Full-time, In person

• 8 hour day shift
• Monday to Friday

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
