A&G Machine is seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant to support our Tool Crib Lead by providing cutting tools and supplies to multiple plants. We are a private, family-oriented company with over 40 years of sustained successful operations, retaining the best talent in the industry.
Job Description- Work within a safety and metric-focused environment.
- Orders, receives, stores, and issues tool holders and cutting tools to appropriate CNC machine resources.
- Monitor job queue to identify, prioritize, and supplement tooling needs.
- Maintain tool holder and cutting tool inventory within the computer system.
- Read and understand CNC machine set-up instructions to identify tool list.
- Set up traditional and advanced CNC machine tool holders with cutting tools
- Use the shrink-fit machine to set up tools.
- Use measuring equipment like a micrometer or caliper to measure cutting tools.
- Keep up on cutting-tool technology advancements through relationships with outside vendors.
- Inventory control: 1 year (Required)
- Aerospace: 1 year (Required)
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in the Tool Crib or Inventory Materials
- Previous machining experience
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Tool crib attendants must have organizational skills to keep accurate records of tool locations, scheduled repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to work unsupervised and make simple decisions.
- Basic computer skills are necessary for the position to transact tools and materials in the system and maintain inventory records.

- Required to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
Full-time, In person
Schedule- 8 hour day shift
- Monday to Friday
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
