Compensation: $19.00 - $33.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Aerospace Manufacturing Technician supports daily machine shop operations, ensuring efficient production, quality parts, and a safe work environment. Responsibilities include operating machinery, deburring, assembling, maintaining cleanliness, and cross‑training across departments.
Typical Duties- Operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, drills), grinding, saws, water jet, presses, part‑marking, and other production equipment
- Perform secondary operations: deburring, filing, sanding, cleaning, assembling, part marking & packaging to specifications
- Load/unload raw materials and finished parts from machines
- Monitor machine operations for defects, report issues to supervisor promptly
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) for quality checks on in‑process and finished parts
- Read and follow written work instructions, production orders, and simple blueprints or sketches
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area – clean machines, sweep shop floor
- Follow company safety policies, wear PPE at all times
- Perform routine cleaning and daily preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist with part marking, packaging, and preparing finished goods for shipment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors during manufacturing
- Remain flexible and willing to work in any area as assigned daily
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6+ months prior Aerospace industry experience required (combination of experience and education considered)
- Experience interpreting blueprints preferred
- Experience using measuring and hand tools preferred
- Prior Machine Operator or Assembly experience preferred
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motions for several hours
- May require standing, climbing, or walking for extended periods
- Work under pressure for extended periods with perseverance
- Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain coverage via Tessera’s insurance
