Essential Duties and Tasks

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.

This position is primarily a day-shift position but will supervise employees on both day and night shifts,necessitating some amount ofoff-shift presence in the plant.

Additionally,the nature of the work requires some amount of phone callsandurgent call-insafter hours and at times, on weekends.

  • Ensure all activities meet or exceed safety protocols.

    Implement and review safety policies and standards.
  • Ensuretimelyinstallation and upkeep ofequipmentand systems for operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Assign technicians based on operational requirements,prioritizing based on urgency, and availability of resources,materials and equipment
  • Manage, lead, mentor,train and supervise department team members including all personnel decisions, key metrics, and performance.
  • Interact effectively with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and timing with affected teams working closely with leadership from other areas.
  • Ensure maintenance of records and documentation meets requirements and regulations
  • Conducts root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fix or changes.
  • Ensuretimelyinspections.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • AOS degree (2 years) in technicaldisciplinepreferred.
  • At least2years’experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • At least 3 factory maintenance experience
  • Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.
  • Solid working knowledge of electrical,electronic and mechanical processes relatedtomanufacturing.
  • Strong command of English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00a-2:00p

Pay Range: DOE $,000
