Overview

MACHINE OPERATOR - 3rd shift — Fab, Auburn, Washington.

PCA is a Fortune 500 company focused on packaging solutions. This role involves operating fab and assembly equipment to produce high-quality Hexacomb safely and efficiently.

• Follow all safety rules and policies; contribute to safety improvements and support a strong safety culture.
• Start up, run, and shut down all fab and assembly equipment (e.g., slitter #1, offline PSA, pallet saw, wedge cutter, die press, Assembly table).
• Ensure product quality across slit positions, dimensions, labeling, and packaging.
• Train and direct temporary employees when needed.
• Operate equipment efficiently while working to reduce setup time, increase speed, and minimize waste.
• Manage paperwork and data, including quality check sheets, drawings, Bill of Materials, and data entry into our software.
• Be open to new ideas and encourage teamwork across departments.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read at an acceptable level.
• Basic math skills, including multiplication and division.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
