The candidate will have a paid position, at the time of hire. Candidate will earn a wage while working as a Nurse Tech in our program designed to support and accelerate the skills that are learned in nursing school. Multi Care will provide career planning and opportunities to experience various work settings each term via rotations in different areas of the hospital, based upon interest and unit availability, to assist the Nurse Tech in identifying their ideal work environment.

Additionally, Multi Care will supply educational opportunities to advance their career path.

Upon graduation, candidate will apply to Multi Care RN Transition to Practice Residency program to transition from student to a professional nurse.

Multi Care is a nicotine free campus, employment with Multi Care is contingent on successfully passing a criminal background check and passing a drug screen***

• Must have completed first term and a clinical rotation of an accredited program.
• Per-diem/Oncall, non-benefit eligible, non union position.
• Hospital specific and float about every 18 weeks between units in which accept Nurse Techs.
• Opportunity to work between 6, 8, 10 and 12-hour shifts during the school year, based on availability. One shift per week required.
• Pay rate: $20.00 Flat rate, no benefits.
• Eligible for an optional $2500.00 tuition assistance payment, every 6 months, after 90-day probationary period;
  For every $2500.00 payment received, there is a 6-month waiting period/work agreement.
• Career exploration support and an opportunity to work on units of interest.
• Upon graduation of Nursing School, candidate is encouraged to apply for RN Transition to Practice Residency positions at Multi Care.

The Nurse Tech is an incredible opportunity for a student enrolled in a Registered Nurse program at an accredited school and has completed at least one academic term, which included a clinical component or an individual who has completed the Registered Nurse course of study and is awaiting the results of their NCLEX exams.

If you have completed at least one academic term including a clinical component or have completed your study and are awaiting NCLEX exam results, then you can start your new career as a Nurse Tech at Multi Care today.

• You will provide direct patient care applying current health concepts and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's educational program(s) under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
• You will contribute to the assigned unit nursing team, functioning as a member of the unit.
• You will remain abreast of current trends/information in nursing and applies this knowledge/ information to practice.
• You will attend required unit meetings/classes.
• You will apply your knowledge, judgment, and skills as based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences.

• Currently enrolled as a student in accredited school preparing persons to practice as a Registered Nurse and completed at least one academic term which included a clinical component /OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Nursing Technician Registered credential.
• Documentation of current clinical competencies from completed Nursing School course work.
• Current BLS certification.
