American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift Birth Center role requiring strong L&D skills including fetal monitoring, C-section circulating, and baby catching.

• Work in a 20-bed Birth Center with 12 L&D beds, 8 PP/AP beds (3 OB/ED rooms, 2 ORs), and a 6-bed Level II NICU
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• NP available on call for support

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications
• Must be comfortable with/have some exposure to postpartum care
• Proficient in cervical exams, antepartum and labor care, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
• Able to circulate C-sections and perform baby catching/receiving
• Knowledge of APGAR scoring and breastfeeding support
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Scrub tech experience a bonus but not required

• Strong preference for comfort with all aspects of postpartum care from transition through discharge for mom and baby
• Scrub-trained RNs occasionally used to cover sick calls
• Teal scrubs provided
• Multilingual skills (Russian/Spanish) preferred due to patient population served
