This role can be located in any of our strategic markets:
Austin/San Antonio TX, Seattle WA, Upper Marlboro MD/DC.

On‑Target Earnings: $100,000+ (Base $40‑44K + Uncapped Commission + $500 Auto Allowance).

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, pursue, and win opportunities with local, state, and federal agencies and major institutional clients (healthcare, education, hospitality, etc.).
  • Drive growth through market research, lead generation, and bidding.
  • Build strategic relationships with procurement leads, facility managers, and prime contractors.
  • Create compelling proposals and collaborate across teams to ensure standout submissions.
  • Explore joint ventures and subcontracting relationships.
  • Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract.
Who You Are

You are a confident relationship‑builder and strategic thinker who thrives on challenge, enjoys hunting new business, builds rapport quickly, and leverages data and technology to close the deal. Outside sales positions are safety‑sensitive and subject to the company's random drug test program.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in sales or business development, preferably with government contracting or large institutional clients.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes and bid management.
  • Experience interpreting RFPs and FOI feedback.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Hub Spot preferred).
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within government contracting or large institutional sales.
  • Experience with FOI requests and interpreting government feedback.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal government contracting procedures.
  • Familiarity with the specific needs and procurement processes of large institutions.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Familiar with building and recruiting strategic partnerships.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Track record in building professional networks to generate leads.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable in social settings.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
