Key Responsibilities- Assist Richelieu customers by phone, email, and in person at the local branch showroom; research and place orders for building materials products.
- Stay updated on product changes, trends, and industry developments in woodworking, kitchen & bath design, and cabinet making.
- Seek out new business opportunities, provide sales quotes, and place orders upon customer request.
- Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives on customer orders and quotes; research pricing and availability across product categories.
- Provide product solutions for customers to resolve field‑project issues.
- Maintain and uphold Richelieu’s Five Core Values while striving to exceed company sales objectives.
- Operate Monday‑Friday, day shift; may require lifting, pushing, or carrying items up to 50 pounds.
- Motivated, customer‑focused individual eager to provide top‑quality experiences.
- Excellent communicator by phone, email, and in person; responsive to customer and team inquiries.
- Prior inside sales or customer service experience preferred, ideally in an office‑based setting.
- Experience in industrial telesales and knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry, or related building materials are beneficial.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; organized, able to prioritize tasks and comfortable with technology (AS400, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Ability to communicate persuasively with all types of customers and coworkers.
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook, and Excel for daily responsibilities.
- Total annual earnings (base pay + commission) estimated at $70,000 – $105,000 for the first 1–2 years; with no cap on commissions.
