Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading and unloading equipment, taking inventory, and storing materials in the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate also accurately monitors all dock movements, ensuring that each shipped or received item is properly identified and tagged. Performs various shop duties as assigned to maintain the shop and warehouse facilities in good order.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and safely:
    • dump oil
    • crush oil filters
    • dispose spray cans
  • Handle shipping and receiving functions at the dock.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly tagged.
  • Store equipment such as racking or lift trucks in a designated area within the warehouse.
  • Maintain and track warehouse inventory supplies, including tools and materials.
  • Clean equipment by steam cleaning.
  • Maintain warehouse floors, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Maintain and straighten aisles and demo aisles in the warehouse, including cleaning trucks, lining them up and dusting.
  • Empty trash receptacles as needed.
  • Assist technicians with minor repairs.
  • Deliver and receive parts as needed.
  • Keep shop and racking areas clean and organized.
  • Secure all items at the end of every day.
  • Report all accidents immediately.
  • Follow procedures in the company’s Employee Handbook.
  • Follow safety procedures and use good judgment regarding safety.
  • Perform miscellaneous jobs as needed.
Receiving
  • Identify ownership of all assets delivered to the dock.
  • Tag all incoming equipment following tagging procedure (racking, lift trucks, batteries, chargers).
  • Complete all paperwork including “bill of ladings.”
  • Verify that all items received match paperwork, entering quantity/serial number and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all RW assets are stenciled or tagged before leaving the dock.
  • Communicate with truck drivers ensuring no drivers move assets from the dock area.
  • Report damage found on incoming assets to the appropriate department.
  • Report to leadership any department that fails to provide proper, timely paperwork for incoming items.
Shipping
  • Verify proper paperwork with matching asset and serial number before loading onto trucks.
  • Ensure assets loaded onto trucks are handled safely following procedures, ensuring safety and protection during transport.
  • Remove obsolete tags from assets prior to shipment.
  • Keep dock area clear and refrain from storing assets on the dock.
  • Report to leadership any department that fails to provide proper, timely paperwork for shipped items.
Warehouse Inventory Control
  • Store equipment/assets in appropriate area within the warehouse.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of the following areas:
    • Racking
    • New trucks, batteries, chargers
    • Rental trucks, batteries, chargers
    • Used trucks, batteries, chargers
    • Systems assets
    • Customer trucks
    • Scrap trucks
    • Lease returns
    • Used retail‑ready area
    • Battery changing/storage area
    • 10 pallet racks
  • Ensure all assets are stored and parked in even rows according to procedure, providing passageways with 15-yard gaps between trucks.
  • Ensure all covers and panels are kept in place as required.
  • Move and correct assets found in the wrong spot, including system corrections.
  • Ensure unauthorized personnel cannot remove an asset or part.
  • Remove batteries from used trucks before storing.
  • Perform monthly cycle inventories; investigate and correct discrepancies immediately, including re‑tagging the asset and matching in system.
Housekeeping
  • Keep warehouse and lot clean, free of debris, with equipment parked in neat, even rows.
  • Complete assigned housekeeping tasks each day.
