We spend our days positively impacting the summer camp community by helping children reach their potential, enact age‑appropriate goals, and change lives in our Y community.

- Supervise campers and implement activities.
- Ensure all campers can participate in all activities, regardless of varied abilities—physical or intellectual—and actively participate to encourage participation.
- Ensure appropriate behavior of campers and staff to avoid the risk of accidents.
- Assist in maintaining effective communication with parents/guardians regarding camper and camp activities.
- Embody the GPY commitment to diversity and inclusion, respecting race, color, creed, or gender identification.
- At least 18 years old.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Or enrolled in a minimum of two years of child development coursework approved by state licensing requirements.
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and experience working with children.
- Support from an amazing team, including training on expectations.
